It’s been two months since we began tracking our four AVI strategies: INDIGO, GREEN, ORANGE, and YELLOW

It has been two months since we began tracking our four AVI strategies: INDIGO, GREEN, ORANGE, and YELLOW. It’s time to see what has happened during this period. As a reminder, these are real portfolios that we created on Interactive Brokers on October 22 of this year (2024).

We invested $10 thousand in each portfolio, whose list of stocks was selected by the AVIstocks program on October 22, 2024, for each specific strategy. In total, $40 thousand was invested in this way across the four portfolios corresponding to each of the 4 strategies.

We’ve compiled the results for each strategy and the overall performance compared to the S&P 500 TR market index into a table. As we can see, some strategies outperformed the market (green cells), while others underperformed (pink cells); overall, we are slightly ahead of the market for both one and two months.

What does this tell us? Nothing at all. A long-⁠term investor operates on a yearly or five-⁠year basis, not monthly. However, we’ll record the results monthly purely for demonstration purposes.
